Emergency Power Unit switches one of the fluorescent lamps of the working light into the emergency mode in case of the network power failure. The emergency power unit can be integrated in the existing fluorescent work lights. One power unit is used for one lamp. Emergency power unit consists of an electronic power unit combined with the control, battery and information LED assembly system.
The energy stored in the batteries is used to support the battery in case of a power failure. The required illuminance in the emergency mode is usually considerably lower than in the normal operation mode, so the luminous flux of the fluorescent lamp in the emergency mode is lower than in the normal mode.
The emergency power unit linear dimensions allow to build the unit into practically any luminaire with linear fluorescent lamps.
